There aren't too many roping competitions that take place within close driving distance of here, but the Northwest Montana Fair that comes in August does having roping. I went for the first time last year, but didn't get any pictures, I'm planning on getting some this year though.

He lost both of his thumbs in roping accidents, so i always kid him about not being able to hitch hike : }
